With bills piling high, Melanie** found herself unemployed and living out of her car with her children. A caring police officer told her about Family Promise of Ogden, and she entered the program shortly after. Through meaningful summer programs, Melanie’s youngest child found joy and hope for the future. Her oldest child made the effort to enroll in a program to obtain a GED, finding success in accomplishing an impactful goal. In the meantime, Melanie was able to secure employment at a well-established company within the area. Melanie and her family now enjoy the comfort of their own apartment and have the skills necessary to continue to find success in the future.
