Lisa**, Steve** and their teenage son moved to the Ogden area in order to be closer to family. They had rented an apartment here but they found out it was infested with cockroaches and unlivable. This news left them with no other option but to camp by the Ogden River. They came to Family Promise and found shelter from the summer heat. They all received the resources and support they so badly needed during this unexpected crisis. The staff and volunteers at Family Promise helped them find employment and obtain medical insurance. They were eventually able to find a place to call their home by networking with caring, local religious leaders.
