George** and Tina** along with their 4 children, all under the age of 6, were living in a hotel for about a week after their landlord decided he wanted to remodel and evicted the whole complex. During that week George and Tina realized they would not be able to get another place so they sought out Family Promise. They began learning important financial skills and started working on building up their savings. George was already working and Tina quickly found work, allowing them to save enough money for deposit and rent. By using the skills they learned in the program, became able to provide a safe and secure living situation for their children. They quickly found a new place within their budget and were able to regain independence.
