Martha* arrived at the shelter program with her six-month-old baby and two-year-old son,
facing the harsh reality of homelessness due to a lack of support. A devoted mother, Martha was
determined to do whatever it took to ensure the safety and well-being of her children.

When she joined Family Promise of Ogden, Martha was given a chance to change her
circumstances, and she seized it. Every week, she filled out job applications in person,
relentlessly pursuing employment until she found a job that could support her family. With the same perseverance, she visited multiple housing units to find an affordable place to live. Through
her hard work and dedication, Martha successfully completed the shelter program and secured a
stable home for her
