Volunteer

Do You Want to Help Families Experiencing Homelessness? Here’s How You Can!

There are many meaningful ways you can get involved with Family Promise and support families working toward stability and self-sufficiency:

🍽️ Provide a Meal

Volunteer to bring dinner for the families staying with us. Meals are needed for 36 individuals. We ask that volunteers also spend time with the families from 5:00–8:00p.m. A minimum of two volunteers is required each evening.

🏡 Host for a Week (Sunday through Saturday)

Over the years, we’ve been blessed to have the support of many wonderful congregations and local organizations in hosting weeks at Family Promise.

Some of the groups who have generously given their time and resources include:

  • Ascension Lutheran Church
  • Community United Methodist Church
  • First Presbyterian Church
  • New Hope Assembly of God
  • Seventh-Day Adventist Church
  • Church Without Walls
  • The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including stakes from Kanesville, Pleasant Valley, Pleasant View, Pleasant View South, and Orchard Spring.

We've also received incredible support from local businesses such as:

  • Modern Woodmen of America
  • Utah Bank
  • Autoliv

We are so grateful for each of these partners’ help in our mission to support families experiencing homelessness.

Would you, your church, business, family, or civic group like to get involved?
Come host for a week and make a meaningful difference in our community!

As a host, you’ll:

  • Provide paper goods.
  • Provide and serve dinner each night Sunday thru Saturday staying from 5:00–8:00 p.m. with at least two volunteers.
  • Assist with light setup and cleanup.

📦 Plan a Donation Drive

  • Paper products
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Office supplies
