Janice* was a single mother who experienced homelessness while pregnant, a challenging

When she entered the shelter program, Janice was determined to turn her life around—for the

working hard every day to rebuild her life.

children and give birth to her baby. Upon graduating, she had not only regained custody of her
kids, but also secured stable employment and moved into her own home.
